5. “American Idol”
American Idol has been around for 12 years and each year they never disappoint. Since Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul left, it has been nothing but a roller coaster for this show.
But this season the producers pulled out the big guns. They recruited new judges. Those new judges are multi-selling artists; Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj and Keith Urban. And of course we still have our “dawg” Randy Jackson.
“American Idol” airs Wednesday and Thursday at 7 p.m. on FOX.
4. “The Office”
The Office has always been a funny show. With likable characters and a witty story line, “The Office” will be a show to watch especially since it is the last season.
With characters like Dwight (Rainn Wilson) and Jim (John Krasinski) the show has those moments where you can’t stop laughing.
“The Office” airs Thursday at 8 p.m. on NBC.
3. “Smash”
“Smash” has it all. It has drama, comedy, romance and people singing out of nowhere. This show is quite unique because it is based on someone’s daily struggles of working and living on Broadway. The characters are also very believable. Overall, “Smash” is great and it is definitely worth checking out. “Smash” airs Monday at 8 p.m. on NBC
2. “Modern Family”
“Modern Family” is nothing but funny. From the start to the end the show the show has the jokes coming in. The characters of the show are very interesting and with actors such as Sofia Vergara, Ty Burrell, and Jesse Tyler Ferguson they add a special quality to the show making it that one show that everyone falls in love with. “Modern Family” airs on Wednesday at 7 p.m. on ABC.
1. “New Girl”
“New Girl” has been getting extremely positive reviews. Zooey Deschanel adds a quirky spark to the show and with her dorkiness the show is very interesting. The producers have done a good job with the story line and the characters. They made it very easy to understand the plot so then viewers get invested to the show.
“New Girl” airs on Tuesday at 8 p.m. on FOX
