May 3 was Polish Constitution Day. On May 7, Chicago will be having a big parade and it will be televised.

In honor of Polish Constitution Day, Polish Club hosted a Polish Cultural Day. Interested students can come down to room 138 every Thursday to learn more about the Polish culture.

Sponsor Izabella Wnek has “been in downtown Chicago for the Polish Constitution Day Parade.”

People in the parade wear red and white which are the Polish colors. Others wave the Polish flag, and this is just to show off their Polish Pride.

“The Polish parade is always a lot of fun because you get to dress up,” said Wnek.

These types of events are very important because Polish is the third most spoken language in Chicago.
