Computer Science explores deeper topics at Splash

Students from computer science classes went to Splash on April 9. Splash is an event at University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign run by undergraduates that teach high school students about computer science. Many students were introduced to several fields of computer science and learned the complexity of computer science with cryptography, machine learning, models of computation fields and many more. Sophomore Eric Pfister said, “I learned computer science is complicated.”

The event provided a great opportunity for those who are interested in computer science for a career. Senior Samarth Patel thought the event was a great experience.

“I like the arrangement of Students of University of Illinois Urbana Champaign.”
